Todd

My brother...Hmmm what should I call him? I'll call him Todd because it is my nickname for him. He is seven years old and  never smiles when anyone tries to take a picture of him. He makes a silly face instead or puts on the most glum face that he can manage. His excuse (I quote this line)
'I can't smile!'
Whenever me or Todd have something special going on in our lives or there is something new going on such as starting  new school ( in this case) my mum or dad  take photos of us in our uniform or kit. You should have seen Todd in his new uniform! He had the most sad face on and looked as though he was at a funeral.
Different faces that Todd makes:

  1. Tongue sticking out to the side
  2. Lip curled over, fake distraught eyes( most popular expression.)
  3. Tongue sticking out at the front
  4. Funeral face.
  5. Fake smile.
  6. Bored face, rolling eyes
  7. Looking to the side with a weirded out expression
  8. Nearly crying, upset.
  9. Mouth wide open.
  10. Dumb expression

Sometimes he doesn't even stand still when a photo is being taken. Once, when my dad was taking a picture of my brother and I, at the last minute, Todd ran up to the camera and nearly knocked it out of his hands! My dad got really annoyed(predictable).

At the moment he is going through a drum craze and drives my whole family bonkers knocking on a drum that he used when he was in nursery. It was cute then but it's annoying now. He even bangs his head against the drum (as a joke and softly) which is quite dumb as he wears glasses which could break any moment when he does that or he could break the drum which he would be pretty angry about.

Todd is the comedian of the family.
Sometimes when he is in trouble, if he makes a joke about my mum's facial expression then it makes it all right for him... sort of. Sometimes I feel that it's unfair that he gets treated differently to him but he is more cheerful than me and of course, younger.

Todd is the person most likely to make excuse in my family. Here's an example:
Todd and Mum are in the car on the way home from school.
Mum: What did you get in your spelling test today?
Todd: 9 out of 10.
Mum: What happened to that 1 mark?
                          #AWKWARD SILENCE#
Todd: Mum, don't tell me off, but I got 5 out of 10, not 9 out of 10.
Mum: Why did you not get 10 out of 10 and more importantly, why did you lie to me?
Todd (almost crying voice): I thought you'd tell me off.

See, he makes the most lame excuses that are just stating the obvious.

Todd likes  loves football and he plays it all the time...well he used to love it and play it all the time. Recently though, he has gone off football. Now he won't jump up and down to watch Match of the Day; he won't kick a ball about in the garden. But he just won't admit that he's gone off it even though he loves cricket more, it seems. Every spare minute of his time is spent doing bowling actions or playing cricket by himself(!) I wish he'd admit to it. I keep saying that he should start playing in a cricket club instead of a football club but he just hits me as brothers do(or threatens to hit me with his cricket bat looking like a mad gremlin.)

Even though Todd is a bit of a creep and I really don't like him sometimes(well always) but he's my brother and I have to stick with him for the next 7 years so I'm gonna have to start liking him at some point, or things won't be pretty.
